Crap About Life

Life is really kicking me around right now. Financially we aren't doing to great. My transfer didn't go through because of the shitty workers and people not doing their goddamn jobs. So... Now I am stuck working around the house and then also trying to find a job in this economy. Grades were much better this semester, but still not good enough despite the effort I really did put into things. Both sets of grandparents aren't doing too hot - either grandfather could go any moment anymore with their health issues...

And one just went to the hospital tonight bleeding from a place he shouldn't be. Now I have no idea how long the old man is going to be around. And that bothers me to a level that I'm not sure how many understand. He is not flesh and blood yet he has been more of a grandparent than the ones that are. Even his family embraces my sister and I like we are a part of them. He's a very special person and I really do love and respect the old ex marine to bits.

I also got to visit Jared again before heading home for the summer. He's... Well he is just doing a lot better than when I last saw hm. Leave it at that. If I go on more, I am sure to cry about it.

None this time... Just working on messing with other programs... Been fooling around with SAI and working on almost purely digital stuff. So sad... ;_; Also have been doing a few more traditional bits... Maybe I will scan them. Maybe not. Also notice that I haven't been uploading that much. I am doodling very often but sadly I am mostly storing them in my PhotoBucket.

Crap About Life
I turned 21 on Feb 24th... Amazing, right? e_e

All right... So an update... I have been hanging out with Matthew a lot more now. Kinda doing things here and there. Invited him home with me for Spring Break too. Let's see how that goes. In other news, classes are going great for me! I am doing very well in them and pulling the kind of grades that I should have been last semester.

As for work... Well it's work right? e_e I hate it, but what else is there for me to do, you know? I can't quit. Economy's just too bad at the moment. I'd rather have a job than NOT have a job.

Crap About Life
Okay so it's been a few weeks since I've been back to school. And what a few weeks it has been! Typically I am eating right, sleeping right, and even doing my work before it is even due. How's that, eh!? My Criminal Justice and Drawing classes are my favorites right now. Apparently my teacher really likes some of my random doodles that I do after our exercises in class. Who knew? Anyway... I am tired right now because I had been studying for my CRJU test. Hopefully I got a good grade. I felt really good about taking the test. I felt prepared. We shall see...

Work is work. It sucks. I hate it and want to do something else. Past few nights haven't been that bad because I talk to Rosa and Jennifer a lot during the dead times (which does not happen a lot) and while clocking out/walking to the car. They're pretty cool, for old ladies. *snicker* We also have a lot of the same complaints about the place. Ah well... Only a few more months to go right?

Did I mention I have been playing that SE game for the PSP? SO FUN!

Crap About Life
Christmas break is now over. Tonight is my last night home. Tomorrow is the last day of freedom and Sunday will be spent driving back... DX Not looking forward to it. So far break has been great. Didn't work like I had wanted, but probably for the best. I also started hitting up the gym and working out. OH GOD THE PAIN... Anyway... Beyond that, nothing much has been going on. Lots of people over and lots of the little sister going places. Me? I was content on just being home and doing things here. I know... I'm lame and need a social life. Too bad there are none to spare around here.

Ended up getting an iPod nano, lots of coloured pencils, TONS of chocolate, and various other mini things. I love it all and have been putting it to good use already.

I guess I am just not ready to go back. Part of it is that I really really hate the atmosphere of my workplaces... Then the other is that I failed 3/4 classes... One really wasn't my fault and the other was just stupid because the final was 25% of the grade and I did bad on that but alright on everything else... GRR!

WOO! CHRISTMAS BREAK STARTS RIGHT NOW!

Went up to see Jared for a bit last night before heading home. The drive was pretty harsh and I am kinda worn out. I brought my scanner and artstuffs with me so I might be getting stuff up. Depends upon how motivated I am. Also need to call in at Walmart about screwing up my transfer... I'll get on that tomorrow...

So... I'm still not completely happy with what I do. Yet, I've found that I am improving, little by little. I just need to work on a few things here and there, at least those are my goals. I know what I want to improve on, and I am trying. And yeah... Soul Eater had kind of taken me over. Doing a few other things on the side, but it is still my passion at the moment. If it wasn't soooo good compared to the other things right now, you might be seeing other stuff occupy my DA. My only other wonder is if I should start taking commissions and stuff. Eh... Nah. Too much work.
